WORLDART AUTUMN GROUP SHOW 5- 26 APRIL 2018

For the next edition of First Thursdays WORLDART will introduce new works by a young up and coming photographer Phumelele Kunene. Kunene’s series Inkosazana Yezulu (Goddess of the sky) is an exploration and celebration of the Nguni-speaking people of Southern Africa, their traditions and symbolism.

In addition to this we’ll be exhibiting new works from Johannesburg based artist Thokozani Mthiyane. Mthiyane’s creative process is a combination of painting and poetry;the works are an exploration of personal expression and the channelling of innate creative forces which comment on the difficulties we face as South Africans.

The exhibition opens on 5 April at 6pm and will run until 26 April.
