TIM DEMPERS

Tim Dempers moves between painting, architecture and yacht design, bringing elements of each into his creative practice.

In 2008 he graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London and went on to work with Cecil Balmond at Arup’s Advanced Geometry Unit.

He’s also collaborated on a number of yacht design projects with Gill Schmid Design in New York, all while maintaining a strong studio practice.

After years in Shoreditch, London and a season in Liguria, Italy, Tim returned to Cape Town where he has his studio and continues to develop his cross-disciplinary work.
